Plan Shade Trees for Cocoa Agroforestry

Represent a cocoa or cacao plot with shade trees of different modeled dimensions, then examine how alternative arrangements distribute simulated shade. This makes a spatial design visible; it does not prescribe a universal shade level.

  6. Inspect density alternatives: Compare a denser and a more open arrangement under identical temporal settings.
  7. Compare two cocoa shade-tree arrangements: Create a cacao scenario with a regular arrangement. Duplicate it and reduce or reposition selected shade trees. Where useful, assign different modeled dimensions to represent structural layers, then inspect both scenarios in 2D and 3D.
